Wojciech Kosma is a performance artist. In his performances and web series (most notably
Charisma, his collaboration with Sarah M. Harrison) he stages nuanced representations of
personal relationships that carefully walk the line between private and public appearances,
authenticity and fiction and—formally—between dance, music and visual arts. Wojciech is a
founding member of artist TV collective East London Cable and a free jazz duo Hope Scandal
(with the drummer Bobo).
Wojciech's performances were shown among others in Chisenhale Gallery in London,
Transmission Gallery in Glasgow, Wysing Arts Centre, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw,
Schinkel Pavillon in Berlin, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions or Interstate Projects in New
York. Charisma was funded by Kone Foundation and Volksbühne Berlin and is available online
at charisma.watch
This residency is supported by Visegrad Artist Residency Program – Visual and Sound Arts.
