ESSL Award is given to young artists from the seven states of Eastern Europe, who are studying or have just graduated their studies.The Award offers a chance to present their work in the international museum context. Jury chooses ten finalists and then selects two winners from them for every country.

Two donations of each EUR 3.500,-- per country, presentation in a group exhibition at the Essl Museum (Klosterneuburg/Vienna, Austria), as well as the VIG Special Invitation with one person per country with an artist fee of EUR 1.000,-- and a show at Ringturm, Vienna.
